In the first quarter of 2024, Europe's Android platform witnessed varying performances from top navigation and maps applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends, highlighting download figures and weekly active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at 184K in the first week of January and reaching a peak of 229K towards the end of the month. Weekly active users also experienced a rise, starting from 4.16M to a high of 4.4M at the end of January, with slight dips and recoveries throughout the quarter.

Google Earth maintained a consistent download rate, beginning at 104K and closing the quarter slightly higher at 109K. The app's weekly active users started at 1.05M, dipping in the third week of January to 985K but recovering to 1.14M by the end of March.

For GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation, revenue showed a modest increase from $2.5K to $2.6K during the quarter. Downloads reached their highest at 61K in the first week of February, with weekly active users peaking at 192K in the same month, before both metrics saw a downward trend towards the end of March.

Google Maps Go presented a steady increase in downloads, starting from 32K and growing to 40K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users showed slight fluctuations but hovered around the 200K mark throughout the three months.

Lastly, Live Earth Map: Street View 3D experienced a decline in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads decreased from 43K in the first week of January to 16K in the last week of March, while active users dropped from 128K to 92K in the same period.
